WAM Pilot Programme

The WAM Pilot Programme aims at enhancing talent training for the asset and wealth management sector in Hong Kong. Under the financial incentive scheme of the programme, financial services practitioners can apply for 80% fee reimbursement, subject to a maximum of $7,000 (whichever is the lower) upon completion of an eligible course or seminar. Individual may apply for reimbursement for more than one course or seminar, up to a ceiling of $7,000 per person over the three-year period of the scheme.

Eligible Courses

1. Offered by the Hong Kong Investment and Securities Institute:

• Asset Management Fundamentals Programme
• Back office Fundamentals for Wealth and Asset Management Programme
• Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) Programme: Module 1 (Technical, Industry and Product Knowledge) 

2. Offered by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Credit Management/Treasury Management/Operations Management/Wealth Management for AHKIB or Certificate Programmes
• Certified Financial Management Planner (CFMP) Programme or Certificate Programmes
• Advanced Certificate for ECF in AML/CFT (*)
• Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) Programme: Module 2 (Ethics and Compliance)
